All Thrifty Check Cashing locations are authorized to process Central Hudson, Verizon, AT&T, and MCI, and US Cablevision payments. A time stamped receipt is given to you at the close of the transaction.
Remember to bring a copy of your bill with the account number to ensure your payment transaction easier.
Thrifty Check Cashing also takes Child Support payments.
New York State Lottery games and scratch-off tickets can be purchased and played at all five Thrifty Check Cashing stores.

What is the rate Thrifty Check Cashing charges to cash a check?
The fee is regulated by the New York State Banking Department. Currently, it is at a low 1.86%. However, commercial checks are only a few cents more. If you are a business, click on the link at the top left of the page.
When I pay a bill at Thrifty Check Cashing, when does my
payment post?
Your utility payments will typically post in 3 - 5 business days. Do not pay your bill if it is past due.
Does Thrifty accept checks for bill payment?
You can pay your Central Hudson, Cablevision, MCI, and AT&T bills by check or cash. However, Verizon and Child Support payments must be paid in cash only.
